New Nature Reserve
Thanks to support from the community, in 2023 the Nature Trust of New Brunswick acquired a special 57-hectare (141-acre) property in Kent County that includes part of a well-loved trail network used year-round by the local community for hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. This is the Nature Trust’s first nature reserve in Grande-Digue! Thank you for helping keep this rich forest ecosystem protected so wildlife can thrive and future generations can enjoy the benefits of nature. With the help of Sentier Pluriel, the Beaver Nordic Ski Club, and local volunteers, the Nature Trust has ambitious plans to maintain, manage, and care for this protected land so the local community can continue to enjoy this forest treasure.
